School

Well, firsts things first...only 3 days of school left!!!! But the same thought makes me sad too......some of these students have touched my life in the past two years, and its hard to believe I only get to see them 3 more days. But most of the kids are crazy this time of year and don't want to work at all. I have been super busy lately trying to wrap up classwork, finish grades, and pack up my room. Today we have 8th grade awards and I get to honor 3 girls that have made my life easier here at SDMS. I am also trying to leave my room in good condition for the teacher after me. Life is busy in middle school!!!!

As far as a job for Texas, nothing yet but I'm still hopeful. I have sent out applications for two school districts with openings for Family and Consumer Sciences positions. I know something will work out, I just would like it to be sooner rather than later. But I know there is a plan for this and I need to be patient.

Justin has started working on the ranches in Texas. Cell phone service isn't great at one and not at all at the other. The same goes for Internet Servive. So I may not get to talk to Justin for a couple of weeks......That will be hard. Both of us are ealing with the situation the best we can, and this puts a kink in things. I know there are people who have to deal with more, but this is the first time we've had to deal with something like this.
